porn is gross

The industrialization and accompanying dehumanization of sex is just depressing to me … And kids consume it 24/7 now, that’s kind of alarming. Plastic people having mechanical sex-by-numbers. It’s a lot like the meat you buy from the grocery store. You enjoy consuming the neatly sanitized product from its airtight plastic coffin, never once being reminded that this was once a living creature.

One had to seek out porn when I was growing up. The best thing you’d find would be a vhs copy of a movie that was at least ten years old and dubbed many, many times. And you’d live with it for months.

Nowadays any kid can pull up the most heinous of porn previously known only to the darkest recesses of the human mind on his handheld cellular telephone that he probably doesn’t even use to make phone calls, his brain constantly marinating in things he shouldn’t even have access to. How’s that going to affect the future of humanity? Only time will tell.I didn’t understand the gravity of what I was looking at, the dehumanizing aspect of it all.I’m far from a prude and I do enjoy watching people’s homemade sex vids, and I’ve made quite a few myself. But there’s a world of difference between that and professionally produced pornography. The issue isn’t that sex had been filmed. I like real sex. If I see two glistening, hairless, surgically altered bodies having paid sex in weird positions complete with fake moans, though, that’s gross to me. I realize that’s a matter of taste, but my taste runs towards real people enjoying themselves together and yours fosters exploitation and sickness.
