Did you know that you don’t have to own a Kindle to read a kindle book? The Kindle App is free to download and use on your smartphone–all you’re required to pay for is the books themselves.
Don’t want to pay for an e-book, you say? In that case, it’s your lucky day because my book Effugium: The Time Remaining is absolutely free from Friday, February 26 through Saturday, February 27.
“Just what the heck’s this book all about?” you might be asking.
Well, it’s about a lot of things. It’s about a spacefaring doomsday cult on a generational voyage to a new world. It’s about a plant-based data storage system called Terrestrially Regenerative Enhanced Extranet, or T.R.E.E., for short. It’s about transhumanism. It’s about bees. It’s about a sentient, omnipresent blob with the ability to fold space and travel great distances in mere moments. It’s a big story told from the intimate perspectives of the characters featured in it.
Intrigued? If you’re a fan of classic science fiction literature penned by the likes of Asimov, Clarke, Bradbury and Le Guin, I think you’ll like it.
If you do like it, here’s the good news: There’s a sequel available!
If you’re so inclined, there’s also a novella available, and it’s set in the same universe.
I’m currently wrapping up the first draft of Book III, Exitium, which should arrive on digital shelves sometime within the next six months.
In the meantime, do yourself a favor a catch up before it arrives!
